I am a psychotherapist who provides relational psychotherapy for individuals and couples.
What this means is that I am an engaged and responsive psychotherapist adept at holding the complexity of people's experiences. I listen to both the here and now as well as attend to some things below the surface. My approach is warm, interactive, and pragmatic. You will get a sense that I am really listening to your concerns and responding to you thoughtfully, openly and with curiosity. I believe that a good therapy facilitates growth through connection. People who work with me report feeling a sense of acceptance in our relationship, which allows them to experience more expansive ways of being. This is often very transformative and opens up new possibilities for you and how you may move in your life, work, and relationships.
If you have felt really challenged to step into your life, uncertain of how to make moves that feel embodied and reflective of your desires; or don't have a good sense of who you are, carrying around the ache of sadness, anxiety and questions of your identity; or perhaps you straddle multiple identities and are trying to find a way where the whole complexity of you and your experience can be understood and explored, know that my practice serves people like you.
Working together, we will shed new light on old problems. As we come to know your strengths, we will develop a greater understanding of the obstacles and frustrations that are holding you back from living in a way that feels fully you. .
