Individual Therapy

My approach is relational and psychodynamic. This means that, you will find me reflective as well as interactive. In our work together, you can anticipate that I will be responsive and engaged, as we consider problems of the here-and-now, we may also get curious about aspects of your history.  My experience has led me to believe that this type of work, one that considers the various influences that inform who we are, can lead to meaningful change.

I provide clinical consultation for therapists and therapists-in-training who are interested in developing a deeper understanding of psychodynamic therapy. My belief is that the way identities are held, responded to and reflected in the cultural surround is an impactful and meaningful relationship that informs psychological development and interpersonal realities. It is my belief that this trifecta of considerations: socio-cultural awareness, emotional histories and psychological development, provides a lens through which a deeper understanding can occur and informs effective treatment.

Please feel free to contact me if you would like to set-up a brief phone meeting to discuss ways in which we may work together.
